Jasmine McFalls
Founder & Learning Guide
Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Jasmine is a dedicated educator, leader, and trailblazer in the field of education. She is married to Xavier McFalls, and together they are raising two beautiful children.

A two-time graduate of the University of Louisville, Jasmine earned Dual Bachelor’s Fegrees in Early Childhood Development and Elementary Education, graduating Summa Cum Laude at the top of her class. She was honored as the banner carrier, leading her fellow graduates in the commencement ceremony. She later obtained a Master’s Degree in Teacher Leadership with a certificate in Diversity Literacy, further deepening her commitment to inclusive and impactful education.

With over a decade of experience as an educator, Jasmine has taught both locally—serving in Oldham County Schools and Jefferson County Public Schools—and internationally in Belize, Central America, and Uganda, Africa. In 2020, she stepped out in faith to establish her own K-5th grade one-room schoolhouse—launching it in just three short weeks with no funds, no building, and no students, but fully trusting the Lord to do His God thing.
Today, her school, now located in East Louisville, specializes in personalized, hands-on learning, ensuring that each child receives an education tailored to their unique strengths and needs.
She carries the memory of her late mother in her heart, finding strength and inspiration in the legacy she left behind. Through her dedication to education, her unwavering faith, and her commitment to her community, Jasmine exemplifies the spirit of a Black pioneer—breaking barriers, shaping young minds, and building a brighter future for generations to come.
